Built by Julie Mackintosh & Well Maintained
Built in 1969, Crown Point House has been well maintained over the last 40 years. Over 120,000 US$ have been invested in the water catchment and roof areas recently.
Constructed using Local Stone
The floors throughout are made from hard wearing and easily maintained local stone, set in a rustic style. The doors and roof have been built from purple and green heart. The balcony chairs and some of the doors have been handmade by a local craftsman. The roof has been constructed using wooden beams and steel.
Water Reservoirs
At the base of each house are stored 22,000 gallons of water. Both tanks have pressure and gravity feed systems.
Development Potential
Currently there are 3 main sites proposed for a swimming pool at the house. The dated garage at the top of the development could become an additional living space, such as staff quarters or a guest studio. There is currently ample room for both parking and accommodations in this area. The storage area at the lower level of the second building also lends itself to further accomodational development.
32ft to the Beach
Footsteps away from Spring Bay Beach. Likely to be deserted this beach is quiet, fringed by mature palms and perfect for snorkeling.
