This castle resisted the pirate raids and Napoleon's troops protecting the Corcubion estuary and the Venecian Route.
Defensive fortress, mid-18th century. It was raised due to the continuous confrontations between the Bourbons and the British Navy.
It had a capacity for 96 men and was equipped with 12 cannons, it began to be built by LanaFerrieri and was completed by Francisco Llovet and Carlos Lemaur. One of its charms is that it has been reformed as it was originally, the owners have been concerned with leaving its original structure, therefore living in it is like living in the 18th century with the comforts of the 21st century.
